You know where your freight is
Check the truck's location whenever you like, without calling or waiting for someone to pick up.
Freight and logistics for manufacturing, retail and energy projects, based in Kansas City.
The problem with trucking is almost never the truck. It's not knowing what's going on.
Wayline started from a simple observation: in logistics, almost no complaint is really about the rate or the transit time. It's about not being kept in the loop. Shippers don't know where their freight is and find out about problems too late.
Long-haul with the right equipment and tracking for the whole trip.
Local routes built around receiving windows, with proof of delivery at every stop.
Receiving, inventory control and shipping on demand, paying only for the space you use.
We start from the problem in your operation, not from our list of services.

We give you a login to see where the trucks are and set up automatic alerts for the milestones you care about.

The same order for a one-time load and a daily operation.
Before we quote, we ask the questions that end up deciding everything: the real weight and dimensions, whether there's a dock or forklift at pickup and delivery, and what hours you can load and unload. Almost every surprise charge comes from skipping this.
We assign the equipment the freight calls for, not whatever truck happens to be free, and plan the route around weight limits, delivery hours and road conditions.
At loading, the count and condition are checked against the bill of lading and photographed. That record is what heads off an argument if something arrives differently than it left.
The truck is tracked for the whole trip, and you can check where it is at any time. If there's a delay, we tell you before you have to ask.
Every delivery closes with a proof of delivery signed by the receiver, scanned and sent to you the same day. No waiting for the paper copy to make its way back to the office.
It's not just about the freight arriving. It's about you knowing where it is at every moment.
Check the truck's location whenever you like, without calling or waiting for someone to pick up.
If there's a delay on the road, you hear it from us. Finding out from your own customer is the worst way to learn.
We match the truck to the freight and the delivery site, not to whichever one is free that day.
Count, condition and photos the moment it's loaded. That way there's no argument about how it left.
The signed POD is scanned and sent on delivery day, not when the paperwork makes it back to the office.
The rate is set using the real conditions at pickup and delivery, which we ask about before quoting.
